It’s time to start some spring travel projects in anticipation of the 2017 Camping Season. With just two weeks before our first trip we have a lot to accomplish.

Winter seems to last forever, here in the north. Also, the arrival of a big snow storm on April 1 and quite a few days of rain our plans to get the camper prepared for our first camping trip of the year were delayed. Because of this, we now have only 2 weekends remaining. One way we’ve been passing the time is to listen to the RV Family Travel Atlas and Campground of the Week Podcasts as well as getting involved in the RVFTA community on Facebook. While seeing what others are doing is fun, we’re so ready to get out and do some of our own exploration.
As we’ve listened to the stories of others we have made some great trip plans for the next ew months and hope to fit a few more trips into our short camping season. We kick it all off at a campground just a little more than an hour from home. We’ll use this opportunity to kick off the cob-webs and remember how to live in the small space of a travel trailer.
We were far from home when we bought our trailer and we didn’t get much chance to make adjustments to the space in the camper. The winter months have provided ample time to dream up some projects that we can complete to enhance our camping experience for the 2017 season.
